Finally turns 21!

Hi lovely humans who is reading my blog now, I'm blogging on my 21st because it's so meaningful to pen down what I wanna say rather than going out! Okay to be frank, I just wanna rest at home till I head out for dance later hehe. (Drafted this on 4 June but too lazy to finish the whole post)

The Pre-Party Preparation
For the past 1 & a half month or so, Jasmin and Haryani have been planning this party with me almost everyday- be it face to face during meet up or through phone calls/ Whats App. I'm so thankful for these angels by my side! Although Jas and I were having exams during that period of time, we still met up to discuss in the midst of revision. We were more excited about the party planning rather than our revision, haha! Thanks Jasmin for being so enthusiastic and much more excited than me. Both Jas and Yani were such perfectionists that they wanted no mistakes for the backdrop and props. 100% safe to leave everything to them muahaha.

The initial theme was just "pastel" because I really love pastel colours!! However the name is a bit plain so we were brainstorming of nice names and keywords like "unicorn/ cotton candy/ rainbow/ paradise" blah blah and so on. Yani even drew up the backdrop plan!

Thanks Jas for shopping with me for my birthday dress and I really set my eyes on one watercolours halter neck dress (the one I wore on the day of the party) so I ordered online on Miyoc. The whole process pissed me off, really. I ordered 2 weeks prior my party and received no replies until I emailed them one week after I ordered AND THEY JUST CANCELLED MY ORDER & REFUND THE MONEY (to miyoc members account wtf I still need to fill up some form to request to credit back to my bank account, so inefficient). The most maddening thing was they didn't update the status for one fucking week until I emailed them and they just cancel lol????? Okay luckily I found the exact same dress at Blogshopping @ JEM shopfront, but of course at a much expensive price but I don't really care about the slight difference since it's like 2 days away from my party.

Everything was entirely planned and sourced by yours truly! :) I only consulted Dad & Mum on the buffet menu! Feel so proud of myself to plan this myself because I had to call the caterer and discuss about some matters. Omg can you believe this! Normally I don't even dare to call the Mcd/ KFC delivery! I'm really an adult now! :') I've gotten my cousin to help me book her condominium's clubhouse (bigger than normal function rooms) and seriously, the list of people to invite is the most stressing part! I wanted to invite everyone I know but due to space constraint... I can't do so. Thanks Jas for doing the event banner and my invitaition e-card!

Not forgetting Jasmin & Haryani for all the help and support, heading to my house every evenings after work just to do the props and backdrop for me! (& both headed to Jas house to work on my birthday collage scrapbook till wee hours & I totally didn't guess about it because they almost had all their time dedicated to me!! SO THANKFUL!) Okay I did help a little although I don't have any talent in arts HAHAHA

The Day of the Party
I woke up quite early I guess? I began preparing then dress up and curl my hair (but it went straight after 10 minutes LOL)! I was so excited for my party but definitely not excited to bring bags and bags of stuff to the venue! Thank goodness my best friend, Sirsing, was willing to fetch me over! I guessed he also couldn't reject me even if he wanted because I'm the princess that day HEHE.

First thing when we reached there was to decorate the place and Wanzhen & Valerie came early to do the dessert table too!

I gotta say I might not be a good host, but at least I've tried to talk to everyone. Okay, ALMOST everyone. Actually I was a little upset and regretful because there wasn't any videos taken, especially the cake-cutting session. I totally have no recollection what happened that day, now I feel quite sad. HAHA But at that moment I was very happy to see everyone! It was super super busy!! There were times that I didn't know where to go so I stood in the middle of nowhere and smile, lol.

I didn't eat much also! I was hungry throughout the whole night because I didn't have time to get food. Well, I hoped everyone enjoyed themselves! So thankful that my parents agreed to this party and Dad sponsored $500 for the buffet as my present and yup I paid the rest of the expenses, and I love the key necklace given by my Mum! ^_^

After everything ended, we had to clean up, thanks Jay for staying throughout even though the rest of the dance people went off first. Thanks so much for being my photographer! (If you people are interested, can contact him to be your photographer! Lemme know k!) Thanks Sirsing for fetching Jas, Yani and I back to my home! Love you many many!!

The After-Party 

Jasmin & Haryani came over to my house for sleepover and we had some HTHT! It's the first time we have this, I really love it! We were so mad tired after the whole party! Nonetheless I still managed to take a vlog of me unwrapping the presents! Thanks both of the girls for filming! I slept at approximately 5am while they slept one hour earlier than me. What lor, still say want to have htht the whole night.

We had breakfast together the next day and viewed my party photos together! So much fun! Okay I don't really have much things to say anymore, let the pictures and video do the talking! ^^ Feel free to view the pictures on my Facebook page if you haven't! :)

4th June, actual day 

I had dance training in the evening and Carmen bought muffins and gave me a little surprise for Jamie and I! (Yes, Jamie Seah shares the same birthdate as me!)
Everyone made us dance "solo", I was quite reluctant because I don't dance well, but I wouldn't like to drag time so all out already la! Thanks Wylie for the puddings too! Damn yummy! It was my first time trying! ^^

These birthday wishes really warm my heart ^^ I'm so happy that y'all love my bubbly-ness HAHA Thanks for appreciating me! I'm truly touched. Not forgetting those letters and cards messages too! I really love all your effort! :)
